A few months ago Northern_light had thought that she would like to have me branded, so I got pens out.
Together we came up with a design, based around initials and then had to find a place that would do it.
We visited a place, checked portfolios and asked a whole load of questions.
It was booked for last Saturday, towards the end of the afternoon I was starting to worry a little about how much was this going to hurt, and would I be able to stay still.
The design was drawn out on my shoulder, and adjusted until Northern_light was happy with it. She reassured me and kept hold of my hand throughout the whole thing.
It was done with a cautery machine and it was painful for a moment, just at the point that the burn took place, not like the ache of an accidental burn, and the whole thing took no more than 20 minutes.
I left the shop fine, maybe a little wobbly, and left them with a smell of burnt hair and meat.
There wasnt even any hair on my shoulder.
Srsly.
Two days later and it's a bit more painful as it's getting scabby, no worse than a graze really though.
Northern_light has told me that she is very proud of me, and very pleased with the design.
I feel like I have a visisble sign of my ownership now, and closer to Northern_light, except that was already like really close so I'm not sure quite how that works. I'm not trying to work it out cause it makes my head hurt :P

Congratulations! I recently spent a lot of time researching branding for a friend who wants one, and I find the idea of branding a sub extremely sexy... but it would need to be in the context of a very solid relationship. ;; Semper in faecibus sumus, sole profundum variat. | ||

it's a few days later and really it's been no worse than a tattoo. it reminds me it's there occasionally, like when i roll over onto it or something lol, but it's all going well :D living in my own little world, and you're all invited |
