MMMMM, the last LARP event I attended I got to actually use my bow against people, real people! Sadly they made me take of the sharp pointy arrow heads!! It is consistently remarkable how readily this debate comes down to the horse and its accoutrements, including the rider's boots and tight jodhpurs. And when I wanted to attend a fet club for the first time,I found myself already in possession of appropriate gear - the black leather chaps I'm wearing in my profile pic. Are people who ride, more inclined to bdsm? Keeping a horse does also give one an excuse to drive around in a landrover with an assortment of whips in the back (in number and severity far in excess of what could ever be needed for the ostensible purpose of controlling the horse). | ||

I like ropes, chains and shackles, often have a need to wear some neoprene and paractice new knots, and may spend a few hours whipping on a winter's evening. There was also the occasion at a boat show a little while back, when the friend who was with me asked "why did you buy another 100 meters of rope today - surely you have got enough already?". I said it was to replace a lot of old pieces which were becoming rather worn, but didn't say that none of those had ever been anywhere near a boat! I have been in situations where I needed to give orders which had to be obeyed instantly and correctly, and those receiving the orders knew that if they didn't respond, or got it wrong, the consequences could have been life-threatening. Yes, the sailing season is here again. Did my love of sailing and all the required paraphenailia and hazardous situations, awaken my kinky instincts, or was one of the reasons I found myself drawn to sailing because it involved all that fascinating hardware and the opportunity to experience a type of freedom unlike (almost) any other? I can't say for sure, but every time I head out to the open sea, I get an indescribable feeling of freedom which is almost orgasmic. P.

Indeed I do and living in the countryside does have it's benefits and in my youth worked on a stables which helped my love of the alluring yet commanding sight of Jodphurs and riding boots, in fact the whole outfit is fantastic.
Life is for living, taking chances, pushing limits, so what a little Latex and PVC isn't going to hurt and hell throw some thigh boots in to for good measure. | ||

I am laughing heartily at that comment! Whislt me hobbies are not necessarily Kinky i can certainly appreciate how swimming a mile a day and swimming a length on three breaths really helps my stamina, my fitness and my ability to indulge in D/s play. Some of the yoga poses I get into make me chuckle too, especially Down Dog! Also my psychology studies, which I am undertaking for the pure fun of it, give me some brilliant insights into all the powerplay dunamics and such. Er... I wasn't talking about kink. All those things happen in one of my other hobbies, which is not supposed to be kinky. And I have been in some large mock battles where some people (though not most) were trying to hurt me. And larp weapons aren't weapons - they're toys that look a little bit like weapons. I mean seriously, they're safer than the things people give their kids.
