Was wondering which CP device inflicts the most pain per stroke, any thouughts? I'd say in my experience it's the single tail whip...

Out of all the implements that have been utilised on me since I have been exploring my kink I could state without a shadow of a doubt that the birch elicited the severest level of pain I have ever experienced to date. It's one of the few implements that could actually bring me to tears I would say.
Anyhow I'm such a good girl that it rarely needs to leave its resting place these days

Heavyweight Delrin Cane. Nothing else elicits quite the same level of fear and pain. 10-20 strokes is usually enough to start me crying. subbie xxx

I would go along with that but another implement which is very painful is the birch! I'm not talking about thin twigs but that based on the manx birch, you will know you've been flogged!

Seasonably, the flagrum would seem to fit the bill: Youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXBQNFwJ8wo "He took a single sip of her pain and found it exquisite"

I couldn't say, because it isn't just the implement, but who is using it. Also it should not be my choice. The proper question is which implement provides the greater satisfaction for the Mistress. I can imagine a scene whereby the question could be answered. The Mistress has assembled a collection of candidate implements, perhaps Dragon Cane, Birch, heavy prison strap, sjambok, single tail whip, tawse. She uses each in turn and gauges each from my reaction to the lash and the impact it makes on my flesh. She chooses the two that she judges as the least effective and inflicts one final lash with each. The one that is the less effective of the two is eliminated. The process is repeated with the remaining implements until only two are left. The final two are compared by having 12 strokes inflicted with each of the 2 implements in turn, with the Mistress noting down the relative effectiveness of each stroke. The implement with the highest score is judged the most effective. Then my real punishment begins, that is about 60 lashes with the winning implement. Edited 28 Mar 10, 5:15 PM by jstripes

strangely enough i purchased from the local corner shop a child,s sweet called " sweet boot laces " red in colour and very whippy, used it on a lady who up to then, said she had a high threshold, but had never had this used on her before, she said the thinness made it sting all the more-much to her delight ( and mine ) & edible to boot -- forgive the pun.

I do feel all CP implements have their own individual edge, to instant pain intensity.
I suppose it is the force applied, and where on the body, the palms, soles of the feet, buttocks & back that absorb them " The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. Resist it
and your soul grows sick with longing, for the things it has forbidden
itself"

Depends on how much damage you're happy to put up with. If you wish to avoid cutting then bullwhips etc are out because, while intense, a non-cutting stroke doesn't have much depth. A pukka south African police sjambok has plenty of weight so quite a deep impact but is also wide enough not to break the skin too readily - particularly if you go for the modern plastic versions which are less abrasive than the trad rawhide jobs (thread on this elsewhere). They can be a bit on the thuddy side though, so if it's intense sting which lights your candle a birch might be the thing - lots of thin impacts which do not add up to one wide impact (as per a strap) and birches can be tailored to suit. Free too! A cat o' nine tails with narrow, hard tails is similar. Canes, from light rattan to heavy dragon plus the synthetic ones are all fairly intense, narrow and with varying depth. It's a personal thing which of these you'd find most difficult to deal with so lots of painstaking (!) experimentation is a must. Cane v birch: from what I've read, a small number of cane strokes is more severe than a similar amount of birch but at some point the tables get turned. If big and bruisy does it for you then have a go at a hefty rubber paddle. Yrs. &c.,

Stingy, whippy, thin fibre glass canes. They are the devil's playthings and shall never EVER come near me again. 'I guess you go too far, when pianos try to be guitars'
