well i had a really good time last night. was fun being a table waiter, though i think next time i'll probably be one of the public so i can hang out with my friends more. there were a few problems, but i'll be honest, it would have been weird if there HADN'T been problems, and every single one i can think of (there arent many) can be fixed pretty easily.

What an awesome roadtrip! It started with the Buffy musical soundtrack in the car on the way up and just got better  Sorry for not wearing the ball gown of doom, but the fabric never arrived! Nonetheless, it was a fab evening of dancing, smoking (I loved that room, personally), meeting new northerners, shockingly deep conversations, shockingly cheap drinks prices and an obscene amount of fun.
Oh, and punchplay, knives, singletails, suspensions and cattle prods. Whilst I agree that the playroom was on the small side and might benefit from a bit of a rejig, sometimes these things can't be helped and frankly, I had a damn good time regardless. And other people have the bruises to prove it So, a big thank you to all the people who made our little contingent of Londoners feel so welcome, and congratulations to all involved in its creation! I had a great time, lots of people I don't get to see all that often to chat to, some wonderful performances, and some hilarious songs, altogether a really really fun night, can't wait for the next one. | |

I agree, Dystopia I believe has alot more to give! Had a great night, and most certainly looking forward to the next one, and hope to be there with my beautiful Mistress Daniathea! Also I must say, the two girls sat on the bench in the smoking room looking out through the brickwork made a fantastic image! Just for the record, my friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Our kink is exhibitionism and we were able to indulge ourselves wholeheartedly. The burlesque started and finished brilliantly and the bar had Babycham(!). I'm sure the downsides mentioned by other people are quite fixable. Well done the organisers, a triumph! Thank you so much- what a lovely thread.  To address a couple of the negatives, the venue was freezing; bitterly fucking freezing- I can only apologise for that- I really felt for those in latex There were a couple of problems that have been brought to my attention regarding the vanilla presense- ie the venue owner's friends. If we hold the next event in the same venue, it's something that we'll be addressing. The last thing I'd want is for people playing to feel uncomfortable. The toilet (singular) was indeed shocking.
I must admit to feeling more than a little embarrassed for being thanked on the stage at the end- there is absolutely no way I could have brought that all together on my own. Big thank yous to Mister Chris, Andromalius, Drifting, Noise, Popi, Tanos, Mia, Jen001, Dubstah, Eric Stanton, and Davies591. I'msorrymummy and innocent amateur- thank you both for your service. If I've forgotten anyone from the list, I'm sorry, I'm terribly tired The biggest thank yous have to go to red and Shy_sarah who have been amazing. Their creative skills and hard work made everything possible. They were absolutely essential for the evening and my sanity and to top it off they both got their tits out.
