I use them for different things. Kink and vanilla are very compartmentalised for me and have to stay that way. Facebook is for vanilla friends in terms of keeping up, sharing photos and the like whereas this place and a similar site is where I can talk kink and bother folks with interesting profiles.

Exactly, I while away the hours at work on the boards, nothing like it on Facebook. On here you can have a discussion with someone you don't know who probably knows and understands more about what you're thinking. On Facebook its a oh Yeh thats cool but they have no idea what you're talking about. Its not that I dont use it, its the same as socialising in vanilla world, easier, the scene and here is just easier

I agree with that completely, if it wasn't for facebook I wouldn't be in touch with half of my friends, but here it is just easier!

I agree, and am most fortunate to be able to access IC regularly and freely during my working day.
