Tattoos all the way for me. I hate seeing those pooh bear and tigger ones, and roses etc. I want a tatt down my spine. Lots of different sizes of life like butterflies in black, maybe a bit of tattooing that looks like they're coming out from my spine. But I need to get the money and the cojones together to do it. Getting me nips pierced again is my first priority. Favourite saying: "Eyes down". No. Not bingo!

I have two tattoos and no obvious scars. I love tattoos on play partners. And a scar in the right, or wrong place, can add intrigue, a sense of danger (wondering how they got it) and then HOTNESS!!! Yum! X “Passion is a positive obsession. Obsession is a negative passion.”

As a general rule, I prefer tattoos on light skin and scarification on dark. Simply because I feel those are the skin types that best show off the different art forms. Though, obviously, that's before any other factor is accounted for. Personally, I have three tattoos - an eye of horus at the base of my spine, an ankh at the top of my spine, and a side piece that covers from my underarm to the top of my thigh and has lilies, cherry blossoms, and such like. I plan on having an ukiyoe backpiece when I finish my degree. My side piece, I feel, has as much meaning as any of my scars (which come from a combination of accidents, idiocy, and self harm). Just as my scars do, it tells the story of a particular part of my life. Each one is just as much a part of me, so it is not really a matter of preference. If I had to choose one as an art form, it would possibly be tattoos. Simply and only because I don't feel scarification can be as intricate, but I'm sure that will change as better techniques are developed. There is something to be said for the sheer visceral impact of scars though, as I think somebody said earlier in the thread. (sorry if this is a bit rambly, i'm rather tired)

I have plenty of tatoos which I love, but 2 scars which mean the world to me because they were done by my Masters hand. His initals on my shoulder blade & a small line/mark behind my ear which holds so many memories & emotions he only has to touch it & no matter where we are I get goose bumps & feel very intimate & submissive towards him.

*blushes* me tooooo mrrrrrrrroooooooooowwwwwl. I have three tattoos, all a decent size, all personal designs, all on my torso e.g. not visible when clothed, and all very quirky and very 'me' and a bit kitsch and cute.
