Question running around my head after reading another post on this group forum.
Dom/mes fucking clients seems to be something that most dont offer (at least not on here However what if the client asks for strapon on pleasure? Your still penetrating whether it be male or female, giving sexual relief and stimulation so is this still classed as "prostitution" or something that is more readily acceptable?

theres probably some stupid archaic law that sex is only sex if a man's penis is involved, similarly to rape laws

Comes down to what the definition of sexual services is (which is the measure of prostitution). Is a man having a w""k during a session a sexual service for example?

..... from my point of view, why should prostitution not be as 'readily acceptable' as whatever else is on offer in the world of sex work, or any other work at that!!!!!!!! "It's not what people say, but what they DO that counts"

Finally I'm starting to love the main board, seems to have been shaken off so much bigotry that was plaguing it to death!

I think this subject has been discussed, argued over, sparkled rows and fall-outs, many, many times. Legally, what we do is prostitution and we are considered sex workers along with orange tanned Essex beauties in posh penthouses in Mayfair and streetwalkers down your high street. However, what bothers the law, and the police in particular, is not so much the activities that take place, but the way these people have ended up there, both the punter and the sexual/erotic provider. The police don't give a toss about what consensual adults agree on doing, with money involved or not. They are more worried about coercion, trafficking, pimping, drug trafficking, and exploitation, and if the neighbours have complained (hence the outings) It's well known that coercion and racketts are very rare in the world of professional Dominatrices/pro-subs, so they leave us well alone: they have enough on their plates with conventional sex-providers and specially, the dodgy people behind them. So: do Professional Dominatrices engage in or allow sexual acts? Yes, the majority of us do, to different degrees. For some reason, conventional male to female penetration is seen as generally, not having a place in the studio (who among us offers a bed?) or as part of a power exchange dynamic. But there are as many variations to the sexual theme as there are Dominatrices. and long it may last, because Pro-Dommes in UK are a motley, varied, individualistic lot, and their clients are very lucky in this regard. There is someone, somewhere, for everybody. Behold my updated website , worms! Edited 24 Mar 10, 10:45 AM by Ms_Tytania_London

Quite right. I work in the sex industry as an escort and dont consider what I do 'unnacceptable' and neither do my clients. Its a service I provide for mutual benefits and pleasure. Reb

This post has thrown up a very good cross section of replies. We have to consider what is classed as sexual relief.I suppose it is up individual tastes-if you use a cucumber or heavy breathing, and it gets you off-then so be it. When is a penis not a penis-that is the question. I would love to hear this debated in court! Perhaps one reason why Doms do not offer sex,is due to,after dealing with a trying sub-your too bloody knackerd to even think about it! In someways a novice would be a bit confused by some replies. They would go away thinking that we are reformed bigots, who have turned into a motley, varigated bunch of bloody minded activists freed from the yoke of our strong arm pimps. At least they could gain some consolation by the fact that there are benefits to be gained by both sides. On a personal note i am proud to be part of the industry. If people want to shun me,then they were not genuine friends or colleagues in the first place.

A few random thoughts. The decision of whether or not to provide sexual, or indeed any service is down to the individual Domme. It is the Domme's body and she has the right to do whatever she pleases with it. I think the issue of whether or not dominatrices are controlled or "pimped" by others deserves more discussion. A few of my clients have told me that they have visited multiple domme dungeons and that they didn't think the ladies working there were very happy, due to issues with excessive house fees, long working hours, or being pressurised to provide services they weren't comfortable with. That said, a bad working situation does not constitute control for gain, but this issue does warrant more thought.

Yes is the simple answer.... but then we do have archaic laws in this country and they're just getting worse! Don't assume it's pleasurable for all or that they get relief from it! Some of us are just as likely to send them home with the 'load' still intact.
