I have two boys at the moment - on is 3 years older than me and the other is 16 years my junior. Each brings different things to our relationship, but it works well. It will be different for everyone, I guess - my younger boy is far more mature than many of his age and I am sure that does make a difference. |

In all of the relationships I have had, my partner has been older than me, some less so, but the largest age gap was about 15 years.
My current situation finds me with a 9 year age gap. Age isn't really ever something that even crosses my mind, I believe that if you click as people then age is just a number that becomes irrelevant. Right now I'm the happiest I've ever been and the age of either me or the special one has little to do with it really. I understand why people do put an upper age limit on people they will see mind you. I have done, previously whilst looking for something or someone, I would not consider anyone over 30ish for a relationship, although that's more about the logistics of settling down. Becky |
