Depends who the profile belongs to, but usually profiles don't arouse me.

Not really. If someone's is clearly very controlling and dominant and it looks like a good fit then that's good but I don't think it's arousing as such.

The IC Profile removes the fundamental restriction against freedom of expression - censorship - eliminating ambiguity and prevarication and creating a medium that is openly and overtly erotic and sexual. That delivers uninhibited opportunity to say precisely and exactly not what you would like to do, but what you will do, given the opportunity. And that is the difference between deception and integrity, a critical distinction.

In the bdsm context a profile is literally a contract between pain and pleasure and, regardless of orientation, that has to be sexy. And sexy invites arousal...

Words are definitely a trigger point for me, and I often find myself swooning over a cleverly written piece of text whether its in a well worded blog, a profile or even just an artfully written memo, words can definitely make me tingle. As for IC creating an forum where I feel free to divulge my darkest desires well I think not, but I at least feel free to skirt the edges of it, and that will have to do for now.

For me, yes. In the past I have read a profile and been turned on by something in it. That can often be because a certain word or phrase was used. It's enough to turn me on though.

Unfortunately I have no links to provide off the top of my head of hot, arousing profiles :-(
