I am looking for advice both posative and negative with regard to breath control, total enclosure hoods and the use of poppers in such situations.

Regards Brian

Brian, the most important thing is never to play with total enclosure and breath control hoods alone. Always make sure that you are with someone in control.

Some hoods come with lacing to make them tighter. In that case you should also keep a pair of blunt-end scissors at hand in case you need to cut the lacing to remove the hood quickly.

Having said that, total enclosure and sensory deprivation is great to experiment with. Sharing breath control with an experienced top can also be quite exhilirating.

You should always respect your limits. Start slowly and explore your limits. Get comfortable with your partner in play, so good communication is established.

If you follow these simple considerations you should have a safe experience, if not pleasurable.

Cheers,

Mario

Have to echo the above - solo play, especially with poppers is extremely risky! =-o

Best get yourself a safety playmate before going too far.

Don't use one when the domme has long fingernails......because she doesn't want to break them when you're suffocating and panicking!!!!!!!

LOL

Hi Brian,

Some very good advice above. If you are using a total enclosure hood, rememeber that not only is breathing restricted, but so is verbal communication, so until you get used to this experience, having some predetermined hand signals is a good idea, for example holding something in your hand which you can drop if you need to be released. I think there is a company called Regulation which does an excellent quality total enclosure hood. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll get the details for you. Some simple precautions which take a few minutes to arrange can lead to hours of intense experience. Enjoy!!

LOL - hmm choosing between nails and your sub, an unfortunate dilemma!!

Good advice from everyone above - none of us want to be the safety police but when it comes to breathplay you certainly can't be too careful (although obviously the risk is part of the excitement).

Hi All who responded, The advice is very good and sensible. I think the idea of holding something in the hand is a great idea and I will do that when I play again. I would not attempt to play on my own. LOL any offers?

This is worth a read with regard to poppers and playing with poppers (in my humble opinion)

It's no dilemma. Subs grow back, so the logical choice is...

Wait, do I have that the right way around?
