Can be very quick to organise on NHS in some areas. Doctor checks you arent insane then refers you. 30 minute walk in/ walk out surgery job. Modern methods use welded ends to the tubes, so reconnection is considered not possible. There are usually two sets of tests 3 months apart afterwards and they look for zero sperm count. Pain and bruising is absolutely minimal if done by someone good, but only if you pay attention to the absolutely minimal activity warning for 7 days. Escaped from the parallel universe | |

Thanks for the input folks. Well I saw my doctor this morning and after repeating that I didn't want kids for what seemed like an unreasonable amount of times (although I do appreciate they have to check), was told that it could be done within six weeks! I was pleasantly surprised at that so now I've got to see someone else to confirm everything and then hopefully it's all systems go. She did make me chuckle though... She had just started explaining the possible pain I may experience, then noticed from her notes on her pc that I'd been circumcised in my mid-twenties. "Ah, you'll be fine", she said. | |

My doctor was shit-hot ! She was a specialist in the procedure and it was kind of amusing because we were just chatting away while she tinkered about with a couple of tools. The cuts were minute , just the hiss from the welder when she used it could unsettle those of nervous disposition  Oh yes , it wasn't one of those chunky great MIG welders like you see in the local garage , that might have been a bit startling !!Fitz. Main thing is to take it easy after the op, cos you feel as if nothing has happened . sex without interruptions for "johnnies" is much better and the feeling so much better . Trance | |
