I went to Bath over night by myself this weekend. I saw a few museums, went to the theater and then on a day trip round Stonehenge, Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe.
I achieved my goal by building my confidence and have seen so many amazing things.
I never thought I would ever be able to dine alone in an expensive busy restaurant and feel comfortable. But I did it and I eventually relaxed and enjoyed my meal and own company.
I was suprised at Stonehenge at how tall they are I had always imagined they were so much bigger. They are still huge I was just suprised.
I prefered the ones at Avebury and thought the Avenue was awesome.
In two day's I have seen so many different amazing things, learnt so many interesting facts about places and history and proved to myself that I am confident enough to do it all by myself
It's been a good weekend away.

Well done you! Glad you had a good time :D I remember that feeling of dining alone for the first time and it being ok. In fact, more than ok, actually enjoying it. It seems such a small thing really, but it does feel like such an achievement in terms of self confidence and contentment. Congrats! :D Give me life, give me pain, give me myself again... |
