The Pre-clubbing informal introduction is not advertised only on IC, and does not relate to any Munch or grouping (or the club either).

There are guests coming from abroad and/or outside London in general that do not come to Cafe' Rez' through any Munch, has they know of this informal introduction and welcoming gathering through other community sites in both UK and abroad (and have no connection with specific groups in London).

I hope is clear now since some people seams to be puzzled. Those that are interested to welcome people from abroad, and join others having dinner, while talking about the London Scene, and relative introductions, are very welcome to join us. This will be an outgoing informal/welcoming gathering as there will be more and more people coming from abroad (some are even planning to attend from the USA, Canada & Australia at future events) to attend the Club events, knowing that there is the chance to meet others and ask questions about the London Scene, before attending the Club.

Some guests may no speak well in English and so anyone talking any European language and wish to support this welcoming gathering, please memo me. Thank you.

Maybe they will take the opportunity to create one event?

I should imagine it would be difficult for people to choose one event over the other for fear of upsetting the other group.... there are already way too much scene politics going on without creating new divisions.

There is a very positive network of blogs, articles, reports e simile about the Club event (and other events in London) that I have work very hard to establish (together with the support of other wonderful people in both UK and Abroad). Until now, there was a framework in London (that I started to create in Summer last year) that was going to be able to network with others abroad (simply because more people from abroad are expressing the interest to network with the BDSM scene in UK and more specifically London). The original intent of the above munch was also to set up such network for those attending from abroad specifically in support to Pedestal nights and the all idea of combining the Munch on the same week of the Club come from this.

Now, since this is gone (and not with my choice on this matter), there isn't simply anyone interested in welcoming and introducing people in London that are coming from abroad. I'll therefore continue in this (as there is much need for action and less for mere talking really), and those interested are very welcome to get involve. There will be no one sometime, or just one or two people, or lot of people coming. The point is that we'll be there, and I will do my best personally to carry on creating real BDSM community networking (as I'm not really interested in the fetish scene per se, as I'm not a scene person).

This is just an opportunity to meet with people coming from outside London, and welcome them and not as part of any specific London-groups activities. Nothing less, nothing more. Said so, anyone is welcome of course.

I don't think will be the case. We are all grow up people, and it shouldn't be about politics. To me at least is simply a necessity, full stop. Everyone is free to attend what he or she wishes to attend. It doesn't (at least to me) make anyone more or less friendly in my eyes.

It is simply a matter of wishing to see friends before going to spend an evening together.. It is certainly not a chess game (unless someone wish to make something out of this - but then again is their choice too)

Those that wish to attend another gathering do not offend me, or anyone else for that matter that is coming to the Pre-Club Introduction. Nothing is stopping anyone to pop around to welcome people and go and see other friends too. Let's put this in the right prospective shall we?

This is simply few people (or many) meeting for some food, drinks and talking before a Club event. There is no need to feel either 'uneasy' or 'forced to choose'. Just walk in, join whom you wish to join and enjoy your drink (and the Club afterward of course) ...
