To be fair, maybe the shit is because he's blustering to cover up his nerves? Going to pedestal and finding out what it's really like may be the best thing that ever happens to him and his posts.

OP - The reason I have noticed your profile is because you only ever seem to post on threads that you have started. I struggle to believe that these are genuinely the only topics that interest you, or that you have an opinion on. (Okay, I have noted that you have made an effort lately and posted on two threads that weren't your own) The point is though, if you try this approach at an event you will find you don't like it. Go and be prepared to do the work of joining in other peoples conversations, ask questions, ask for support, show an interest in others and you will be more or less guaranteed to have the time of your life!

It would be a sad thing indeed if you look back on your death bed only to think "well at least I posted on a website where people did the things that I wanted to do!"
