I did that driving the other day. I went into a sort of trance with all the cars basically stationary and the countryside all whizzing past us, Doesn't half save petrol. No actually it was quite mesmeric and soothed my overtaking mania. My object all sublime... | |||

Saw it on Sat in 3D...one of the most mega experiences in my life to date...almost better than making someone scream... Not sure if that quote is in there...it is from the original book... As to confusion...I think it helps if you know the original book inside out...and living in an alternate reality probably makes it easier too! Yes it is amazing how you can do that. Our bodies are busy processing data all the time just eg our pottering round the house, (with the occassional blip when we put the sugar in the fridge), but finding we have been hurtling along the motorway at seventy on auto pilot as well is a bit disconcerting.
