I think if someone asks me about something, then I'll comment, but I wouldn't dream of walking up to an alcoholic and start berating them over what it was doing to their liver etc. I believe it's common courtesy. Something we do seem to be lacking more and more. XxX

Well done, keep up the good work I lost nearly 2 stone last summer and for the most part I have kept it off but its not easy.
Like you say we just have to re-educate our eating patterns and the odd treat now and again is ok
Otherwise what is the point of living if I cant indulge myself with chocolate (thats my demon!) as a treat
Its such a great feeling to go down from a size 18 to a size 14 - Yah!! and a good excuse to go shopping

I think the real thing is re-educating my mind in psychological aspects. I know this isn't going to be all plain sailing, but I think writing about things when they are going well helps to give you a boost when you look back when things aren't going quite so well! I'm already able to fit back into all the size 24 things in my wardrobe that I was honestly struggling to fit into a month ago. I know I have a long way to go, but it's too big a target to simply say I want to be a 14, so for now every dress size is my only target to consider! White bread is mine - and I even had some this week - and I loved every mouthful! Congratulations on your weight loss - I hope you are reaping all of the benefits fully! XxX

I think I'd rather stay fat! It's a strange one, as I genuinely am eating more than I ever have done before. I'd always worked on the basis of calories in v's calories out, I definitely don't understand why this diet works - but it does! XxX |
