THE more games the better people! Don't forget to put you panini orders in early so I know how many to make! (not on here, when you come in!) Someone did mention twister and I am SO up for that too, having long arms and legs makes it a little easier for me :P I keep being told that "SWITches are just greedy..." to which I reply " Your point is?!?"

Indeed - the last time I played Twister I realised that being under five foot tall is a massive disadvantage! You don't have an awful lot of circles to choose from...

What, me collapsing in a heap on only my third spin due to massive over-contortion? You are a man of strange tastes...

Please be gentle with Mike and Chris as they will be manning the bar, I have had to come back home with a bad stomach. (my fault for eating from a snack wagon on my way home from Buckingham)

To answer the question it was suggested we post here tomorrow - I've already forgotten most of the lesson on how to play Munchkin. But would I come back? Hell yeah. P.S. The worst game of Scrabble in recorded history turned out to be quite entertaining. A handful of dirty words were played and the result was a tightly-fought 260-257 victory for yours truly. Ignore anything and everything Nic says about the real final score being 257-256 to her, I found that last word all by myself Disclaimer: I am an exceptionally sarcastic person. Most of what I say if probably sarcastic in some way. Please keep that in mind. I'm also lying about finding the last word by myself, but you'll never hear me admit it Edited 3 Apr 10, 12:39 AM by Grasshopper

Good heavens but that Munchkin is the most fiendishly complicated game I have ever seen. In other circumstances (i.e. where I enjoy humiliation around stupidity) it could have been used to evil ends... as it was, I'm still just sniggering about the Leperchaun. And admiring the tenacity of our instructor I enjoyed the Games Munch very much indeed - I'm not big on "normal" munches, as the idea of talking to strangers is quite... difficult, but as suspected playing games whilst talking to strangers makes it so much easier and so much more fun! So it was good to meet new people (and renew old acquaintances), I enjoyed the poker very much indeed despite having little clue who had won each hand until others told me, and the aforementioned Munchkin was definitely a surreal way to round off the evening. I shall definitely do my damndest to make the Games Munch from here on in.
Note: I'm saying nothing about the Scrabble. Make your own mind up.

I really enjoyed learning mahjong again. It was a lot easier than I remember it. I'll definitely be turning up for more games munches! |
