I have also sent Abbey a Memo telling her how much I'll miss her but, like Cuteprincess, I want to say publicly how much she'll be missed. A couple of people have said they met Abbey when new to the scene, like them, I met her when new to the scene as well. In fact, I met her on my very first visit to a public event - the Play Munch at Ceasars one Sunday. She was the very first person I didn't know to come up and introduce herself (she knew the lovely lady I was with). I spent a very long time chatting to Abbey and we really hit it off. I don't know her as well as many here do but I'm hoping that in time she and I will be very good friends. I will miss her presence at clubs and, like many have said, I will miss her lovely big grin that seemed to always be on her face, and her sweet giggling. The giggling made a big impression on me. If only more people were like Abbey. Although through IC and events I have found there are a lot of people who are more like Abbey - I just wish everone outside the scene could be that way too. If they were then the world would be a more beautiful and serene place to live in. There is no pain, you are receding... You are only coming through in waves... Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying... I have become comfortably numb |

I haven't been able to come to events often recently, but after meeting Abbey at one of my first appearances at a BDSM play parties I always hoped she was there, and if she wasn't the event was suddenly so much duller. Abbey, you are one hell of a person (whatever you're wearing) and I hope I get to see you again soon... if not I'll be ringing you! I'll always remember the BFJ party where I was dressed as a school girl (and not for maiming my partner-in-crime). I hope whatever is getting you down doesn't affect you for long and you're back to your bubbly self soon. Lots and lots of hugs, and possibly a few kisses.
