Ok, y'all, I need some help. So, let's play a little game called "Give Skyfox a Better Sounding Job Title".
Current job title: Administrator
Tasks performed:
Reception (phone answering, courier arranging, faxing)
Office Manager-type: ordering stationary & coffee, keeping records of sick days and holidays
Finance: (this is the biggie, as I am technically part of this department and this is where I spend most of my time)
suppliers: invoice coding/posting, writing (but not signing) cheques, sending remittance advice, filing, looking up details on invoices, avoiding creditors
So, peeps, let's play... NAME THAT JOB!!!

Communication, Organisation and Financial Executive? That way when someone says get the Coffee (COF E) then it might help you feel more wanted. I always behave. I just don't specify how. |

Well the last part of your job was my job for a couple of years and I was an 'Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrator'. Not sure whether that's better but it's a but more specific to your main job area and just 'Admin' can sometimes sound like you only do filing and typing. Hewwo! I make nylon whips. Take a peek at my profile if you'd like to buy one. |

I'd go for Office Manager if I were you. Encompasses whatever you want it to and sounds suitably fingers-in-all-pies to boot. Or Office Saviour, perhaps. |
