i want to organise a pop up debate down at speakers corner*
i reckon all you'd need is a chair (literally and figuratively), a topic or topics, and a few willing people to kick things off.
would anybody be up for it? if we met at, say, noon and ran for an hour or so, we could head off afterwards for a pub lunch somewhere.
if you're keen, suggest a topic and a date, and i'll see what i can pull together.

thanks merryn liking topic 1 a great deal but think 2 might be a bit esoteric for the nillas. how about tying in the right to hurt and be hurt with the right to die and be helped to die? or is that doing bdsm a disservice by muddying the waters for consensual kink? can't do first weekend of may but could do second. it might even be warm enough by then for picnic-ing! some days it's hardly worth chewing through the leather straps | |

I like this idea. I have some experience of being a chair for discussion groups (back in my university days). It would just be nice to see a good discussion happen too. I'm not really knowledgeable or opinionated in matters kink, but I am a bullshit detector and I have some background in logic.
I'll keep an eye on whether this proposal leads to anything Everything, insofar as it is in itself, strives to persist in its own being | |
