What do people think about organising an IC specific Club Night? Theres alot of experienced event organisers on here im sure it wouldnt take much to co-ordinate, keep it central say the midlands possibly. Other sites ive used ran their own get togethers just for those who use the site and proved very popular. This is after all our site so why not have an IC club night possibly twice a year say summer and winter. Just throwing this out to see what people think?

To be honest, IC doesn't really want to start running events: there are lots of great events already, and things that are just for members is something IC tries to steer clear of (not requiring people to join to read listings, posts, ads etc.) How about organising some kind of national BDSM event? That could include people who only use other sites (or none.) Regards, Admin Remember: it's only a website

I think its a nice idea in principle. But in practice I think there may already be too any competing events out there that are splitting the market too much.

If people aren't going to go to events, they aren't going to go to an event just because it is plugged on IC, which most events are. If people want to meet up they are perfectly capable of meeting up. It's not as if there is a shortage of opportunities. Added to that you don't have to meet at an event, you can just get together for coffee. The other drawback of an IC club night is a lot of people who go to clubs aren't on IC. Most people who go to munches are, but not clubs. You would be cutting down your numbers quite a bit if you restricted it to IC members only. Why don't cash machines have a Gamble button?

you could organise a thing through IC website without actually using IC and call it .... oh, lets see - National Munch / Club 2010. We could all wear purple ...sorry i mean, we could all wear jeans and t shirts or something. Edited 12 Mar 10, 12:38 AM by Janie_0
