I don't think it is a great secret that a number of PDs in the UK are heavy/regular drug users.

I'm not talking about PDs who use in social situations. I am referring to PDs who are clearly under the influence of something whilst sessioning or filming, so I'm referring to use within a professional capacity, a situation where they could do a serious amount of damage to a client due to reduced capabilities.

I've heard personally from a number of clients who refuse to go back to particular PDs because of suspicions (or confirmation) of in-session drug abuse.

I've seen it myself.

So does it matter to you that a PD is gaining, or already has, a reputation as a space cadet?

Is this something that you, as a potential/regular client, should know about? Or want to know about?

I have nothing against drugs (or alcohol) and view it as a personal choice.

However, whether pro-domme on, not, domme or sub, I think you should at least know if your partner is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Then it's up to you to make an informed decision.

Yes

I agree with this. In all my years of sessioning I've only come across one PD who had a drink or two pre session and none who took drugs. The lady concerned was a brilliant domme and a friend and it didn't affect sessioning at all. Indeed, I used to smuggle cans of Holsten in past her maid who disapproved

:) :)

Current domme and I share a bottle of wine mid session (I must admit I have most of it though)

:)

Its not something I had really thought of as no one has reported to me of bad experiences of this kind.. The danger is pretty clear but I dont see there is much anyone could do to prevent it happening.

If I knew a client was either drunk or on drugs or both then I would refuse to session him/her. I do not use drugs or alcohol in any session apart from being on perscription drugs for a medical condition.
