Hello campers. We are walking on saturday this week as so many of us will be getting spoilt rotten on mothers day, those not getting spoilt will probably be doing the spoiling. We have resurrected the walk which feralfaery and Dick Velvet attempted in the flood, so here are the details. please note an early start as some of us are off out on saturday night. MEET AT 10 AM CORNMILL MEADOWS WALTHAM ABBEY. Waltham Abbey . 7.5 miles, Ascent is 269ft, and book rates it at difficulty 3, ascent grading 2. It looks like being a muddy one. Map info is . OS explorer 174 epping forest and lee valley. todays walk was brilliant, it had everything i like in a walk and more. the horses were a spectacle and the pub food was outstanding. lovely company too  You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist.
