i have been feeling pretty guilty about being off work sick for almost a month now, but after reading something today i feel a lot less guilty.
i had a call from my doctors surgery on monday telling me that the doctor had seen my chest x ray and he had prescribed me some antibiotics that would be ready for collection today.
These antibiotics were not the ones that i am usually prescribed so i actually took the time to read the leaflet that comes with all pills nowadays.
In amongst the usual side effects list and things to avoid etc was also the usual dosage of the pills. For a normal chest infection its 250mg for a really bad infection its 500mg.
Needless to say i checked the dosage and find that i am on the 500mg dose. So the conclusion has to be that my chest infection is pretty bad.
This at least means that i will no longer be plagued with the guilty feelings that i have had up to now. What i thought was just fatigue from getting older is in fact more likely to be this infection. So now i have hope, hope that once this infection has been sorted that i will actually return to feeling my normal self.

Well at least you know now love. You are not the sort of person to have time off unnecessarily so you certainly shouldn't feel guilty. Lets hope they do the trick and you feel like your lovely bubbly self soon. Besides you have a very special date at the end of the month.
