Thanks holly :) but I think avoiding the Easter weekend is a bigger consideration for a one-off event (and there is always the London Fetish Fair on the 11th although I don't want to get tangled up in London event loyalties ;) )

I did suggest May.

I personally would prefer May, but the 10th of April is good for me, the only problem that I still have some more guests from abroad that I may have to accompany to Club Crimson that night and it depends until what time we are planning to meet (as I don't wish to leave early and not staying for a possible dinner).

In anycase I look forward to this. Thank you!

Same for me almost every date is good as I won't miss this meeting. Unlucky we couldn't go to the Manchester one.

We're already going to be in London that weekend so will try to come along for at least part of the meeting.

I'm excited. There's no reason why there can't be another in May - i think this is something that could become monthly or bimonthly.

mia, x

If it travels (which i'd like - I hope to meet more people from around Britain that share our lifestyle) then I think bimonthly would be best - one weekend in four might prove taxing in terms of integrating it into busy real lives, affording travel and acommodation and actually, discussion fatigue.

I agree, and will definitely attend in April.

It is difficult, if not impossible, to please everyone, and the simple fact is that everyone might not be able to make it to every meeting.

There are events on in London every weekend to which people might already be planning to come. I think the important point is to be able to offer people who may be traveling to London for the O&P meeting the chance to have a full weekend with several options to choose from, regardless of whether a particular event is on that weekend or not. The 10th of April certainly offers that, and avoiding clashes with Easter will be important to those who may have family responsibilities.

I too hope that more O&P events will in time be organised in other parts of the UK, as I love to travel to new places.

Best to all.

Yeah - I think that when it comes to the frequency of the event the key question is whether this is going to be a travelling event taking Tanos & mia around the UK, or whether it's going to become a "franchise" with regular events taking place in static locations.

I could certainly see a model working with (say) Manchester & London events on alternate months.

Due to family commitments I'm unable to attend any meeting on a Saturday afternoon - would it be possible to arrange a future meeting for a Sunday? I'm prepared to travel, I just can't make Saturdays!

If we're possibly looking at may that would be a far better month for me.

I concur.

I don't think we could manage to attend in London or monthly which is a shame as we would like to meet up with others around the Uk too.
