Following on from the O&P Open in Manchester last Saturday,
I'd like to try another one with the same format in central London next month, probably Saturday 10th April to avoid the Easter weekend. These events are for people interested in O&P-M/s-D/s relationships, and are intended to be informal but more structured than a munch.
The venue of the social plus round table discussion will be a pub function room, say 1pm to 5pm, and we can have another, very optional, dinner in a nearby restaurant afterwards from about 6pm.
How does that sound? Anyone interested?
Regards,
Tanos
ETA: Venue is the Potion Bar in Maple St, W1T 6HP, from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 10th April. This is within easy walking distance of Great Portland St, Warren St, and Goodge St underground stations, and not that far from Euston and Kings Cross for us out-of-towners. The optional dinner will be from 6pm in a nearby Pizza Express (which offers various pizza, pasta, and salad dishes.) Edited Sat 3 Apr 10, 9:46 PM by Tanos

Can i maybe suggest you do it the day before LAM either in April or may as it could open the oportunities for those who want to make a weekened down in london. |

sadly we won't be able to make that weekend - but would heartily recommend it to all O&Pers.
we will do our best to make it to these events whenever we can. Patience is bitter - but its fruit is sweet.

Thanks holly but I think avoiding the Easter weekend is a bigger consideration for a one-off event (and there is always the London Fetish Fair on the 11th although I don't want to get tangled up in London event loyalties )

I did suggest May.
I was thinking of us northerners who take the trip to London not actually the southerners

I think that weekend is the Japanese Festival of Bondage too and Subversion Japan special event (in concordance with the Festival) on Saturday... and so many people will be attending these events (I have guests from the BDSM Italia Association attending both LAM & Festival and I as I look after them it would be impossible for me to attend). I personally would prefer May, but the 10th of April is good for me, the only problem that I still have some more guests from abroad that I may have to accompany to Club Crimson that night and it depends until what time we are planning to meet (as I don't wish to leave early and not staying for a possible dinner).
In anycase I look forward to this.
Thank you!

I'm excited. There's no reason why there can't be another in May - i think this is something that could become monthly or bimonthly.

If it travels (which i'd like - I hope to meet more people from around Britain that share our lifestyle) then I think bimonthly would be best - one weekend in four might prove taxing in terms of integrating it into busy real lives, affording travel and acommodation and actually, discussion fatigue.
Best to all. Patience is bitter - but its fruit is sweet.
