For many years i have watched people, mainly the younger ones, walking around with jeans that would look more at home as dusters than actual leg wear. Though i also have to admit to a little bit of envy that they get away with looking so cool. i always thought that they tailored their jeans to look frayed and worn, but perhaps not.
i know im waffling, what i am trying to say is that finally i have managed to wear a pair of my jeans to extinction. i have a hole in one leg, i didnt cut it, i didnt design it, its just gone that way from constant wear.
Now my problem is what do i do, do i leave it alone, and wear them with pride at now being the height of fashion (if it is that is) or do i find some scrap material and put a patch on it.
Oh decisions decisions

Wear them with pride as a one of a kind fashion item. Also, be grateful it is only a hole in the leg. I remember my favourite pair of jeans deciding to develop a spontaneous split across them whilst walking around the Trafford Centre - right across the centre of my right buttock, and not just a discrete slice. No, it split from seam to seam and was showing a good 2 inches deep swathe of flesh across the split. To anyone in the Trafford Centre that night, I apologise profusely for my impromptu display of cheek and I hope it didn't put anyone off their tea! I gave you blood, blood, gallons of the stuff

When I was younger, I decided to see how long I could keep a pair of jeans going. I remember sewing a bar towel to the side of them to fix them. The problem is, my jeans always wear out between the legs. I ended up having to put big patches there, which made my balls so hot in the summer, that I decided to throw them away (the jeans that is, not my bollocks!). Gary x. OMG i would have been mortified if that had happened to me. Still at least it would have cooled you down - if you were feeling hot of course The bottom half of GC INC

You have just reminded me of an ex of mine Gary, his jeans would wear out between the legs, though he never bothered to repair them. Add to that the fact that he often went commando. Hmmm perhaps now i know why that didnt last lol. The bottom half of GC INC

OMG £75 !!! this pair cost me about $10 about 9 years ago from the states. They have an aplicay (cant spell so did it phonetic) design and i love them. So will perhaps do as you suggest, though i do like the washed out look too The bottom half of GC INC |
