Got home Sunday morning in the early hours from o & I and slept
Entryphone rang waking me up - assumed it was for another flat as usual and let in - my door bell rang and I thought sheesh Jehovah's Witnesses or political campaigners and ignored
Met a neighbour in the street just before asking why I hadn't answered my door on Sunday as he had come to tell me I'd left the lights on in my car
Battery now completely deaded

THe sensible money is to have a spare battery kept topped up at home.

Yep - I have one of those roadside starters but the battery in that is deaded too

THe sensible money is to have a spare battery kept topped up at home. Should have given us a ring, we were in and out through the M11 to LAM. Star always has a few volts to spare for the ole guard, she would soon have you off and running, and possibly the car as well.

 Problem is I only discovered it (or was told of it) today as I hadn't used my car since coming home from o & I
Hope to see you at the LFF Sunday if you're going (and hope to use that carbon fibre cane I got from you Saturday night at the next o & I. Pity I can't charge my car battery with a violet wand

OK panic over - same good neighbour just gave me a jump start and as I only had my car serviced just over a week ago it started sweetly Just have to find now where I put the bloody code for my radio which is now needed to get it to work having been deprived of juice. ^Thunder^ Edited 9 Mar 10, 7:18 PM by x_Thunder_x | ||

[/quote] If it's the original radio for the car, just ring your local garage or main agent and they can give it to you from the reg number. |
