This would make the odds on St Mirren winning not as good as could be hoped for. According to Brokelads Rangers are 4/1 on and St Mirren are 9/1 against. I would say look upon it as being a fine historic occasion, even I am not old enough to have been alive the last time St Mirren were in the League Cup Final but I have met people who were. One of whom was part of the St Mirren Team which won the Scottish Cup in 1926. I even held his medal.

We don't reach many finals but we usually do OK when we get there.
