A Natural products

Homeopathy doesn't use natural products. It uses the 'memory' of water that was once in contact with natural products. Except that it's not the memory of the actual water, but memory of water which contains the memory of water, which contains the memory ... repeat ten times ... of water that has been in contact with a natural product. |

I think it was the horoscope thread that set me off... Horoscopes are only topped by homeopathy in terms of flakey crap.

There are many forms of flakey crap peddled on here, birth charts, dowsing etc. Whenever I offer the proponents of these powers £1,000 if they can demonstrate they work, no one seems to take me up on a chance of easy money in exchange for a test of their powers which definitely work every time, honest guv.

I'd take you up on that offer. Can't guarantee "every time" but a hell of a lot better than chance. I'm a very cynical Engineer, but have used dowsing rods (well, actually a pair made from a wire coathanger) to find water leaks, drainage pipes and even an arrow lost in my field after some rather inaccurate aiming. But homeopathy is indeed bollocks.

Ahhh, in that case ... Down with the anti-vaxers.
In particular, the medically-qualified ones who should know better.

an example. A neighbour had a water leak from a plastic pipe in about 100 yards of tarmacced track. There was a damp area, so the obvious conclusion was that was where the leak was. I said I'd get my rods and find the exact location of the leak, the rods crossed about twenty yards further up the track and I put a marker there. So the guy with the digger arrives, digs up the pipe at the damp point and finds an intact pipe. After a day of careful digging they fnd the leak. Next to my marker.
It is weird, you decide what you are looking for and relax, the rods cross seemingly all on their own. I didn't believe it would work and I am certainly not a tree-hugging spiritual type...I'm almost embarrassed to admit to being able to do it. I found out I could when a pal said he could, and used it to find a gold ring placed randomly under a sheet of chipboard together with other metal objects. Then I did exactly the same thing.

Do you think you could find a ring placed at random under one of 10 containers four times in a row? What's the time OllieVW? And my name isn't John.

I know, but the JREF relies on people applying. I challenge people to prove it. If someone gets the grand from me they will be in a pretty good state to win the JREF's million dollars and the other prizes which would be awarded on its winning.
That said, my test conditions will be as rigorous as the JREF's. They publish all their protocols to make sure the prize is won through use of a paranormal power rather than trickery or randomness. What's the time OllieVW? And my name isn't John.

I received treatment as an outpatient at an NHS homoeopathic hospital for a few years, it never helped me. I love the smell of sexual napalm in the morning.
