It's ok, it doesn't really matter, apart from the highjack I wanted to avoid -apologies about that-. Promise to stay on course now
Btw, this is a good topic for a new thread.

Apologies are lovely, but you've used up another post in making it, oh the irony! It's now the last page of this thread so please why not go delete these posts and make room for some on-topic posts? Edited 3 Apr 10, 1:22 PM by SoulPossession

I really can't believe the amount of whinging and complaining that's gone on in this thread!
If you don't like the location or price or understand the definition of single then don't go, and I'm sure that everyone who does go will appreciate you not being there! Simples!
Being fortunate not to live in central London I appreciate a venue that I can drive to and actually stand a hope of parking when I get there and as a single I also appreciate the effort that someone else is putting in to arrange an event where I can meet other real, single, kink-friendly people, so if I'm free to attend I will for sure
eta: What's with all the posts saying "I can't/won't be coming"? Surely we're only interested if you are coming? Perhaps all the people who've posted anything other than "I am coming / hope to come" responses would consider removing their posts so that people who do want to come can post before the thread fills up with irrelevant stuff?

Bloody hell! you've used up another one telling 'em about it. Tsk tsk. Now stop wasting post space Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

What I don't understand is the organizers' refusal to acknowledge these criticisms as other than whingeing, instead of taking them for what they are: positive alternatives to the original proposal. I'm not saying that they should bend to everyone;s wishes (that would be impossible), but to at least acknowledge their validity instead of automatically disregarding as mere moaning. There were valid points in the criticisms along with, yes, some whingeing, but hey-ho. What a bunch of ungrateful spoilt brats we are. People are profoundly bad but irresistibly funny - Joe Orton
