What a proud dad I am. 
I found out today that not only has my daughter played live in front of a medium sized audiance on cello. She plays lots of other instruments.
I find out that, through a sporting club she attends, she is the only one amongst them and girl's schools in south London to qualify in an indoor event in the national finals and also the international finals for her age group. I don't know what finals they are because being a teenager she does not tell me much about what is going on in her life.
Further to that she will be going to an orphanage in Africa this year for 2 weeks with some other kids her age. Aparantly a lot of her friends are 'dead jealous' of her getting the chance to go to Africa.
I am looking forward to seeing her pics when she gets back.
