About a new job.
The company I work at is going down the pan and slowly, for the last 3 months excluding 3 days I have had no van. my current job is as a delivery driver, I have had the boss driving me around to do the deliveries on tuesday,wednesday and thursdays.
As I have got today off for a meeting this afternoon I decided to start looking for a new job today. I was going to visit the local job centre, but, there isn't one round here any more. Looked in the thompson local and it only lists the website??????
Well after spending a while on the website I found a job I was interested in and rang the number, engaged. The next number also engaged. Finally the third number I got a reply, he took my name and number and called me back, as he was in the middle of something.
He did call back and took some details from me and is sending me an email with the application form.
The job will be a mobile one within zone 1, full time and permanent, but will be shift work. So I may have to miss some events, but also it might let me attend other events instead. I am not going to say what the job is for 2 reasons. 1) I don't want other people trying for it and 2) I might not get it. The pay is more than I am getting now and it means I can be more financially grounded in life.
Here's hoping I can get the job.
