Someone through IC who you know, or have known, in a vanilla existence? This happened to me recently......I didn't realise who she was until some weeks afterwards (haven't seen each other for 20 years) and I'm not sure whether or not she was aware of my true identity. We met once, didn't play, but spent 3 pleasant hours in each others company, both being a little guarded about divulging too much information. I suspect she's married and she's now vanished into the ether......Has anyone had a similar experience?

Yes, twice: The first time i was tarting online and on the phone and made arrangements to meet them, only to find out it was some one i was going to give supervision to the following day.. that was funny because as the came in the office he looked at me and said 'Tea' I gave a look and said yes right!! the kettle there and then asked another member of the team to supervise him. The second time was at the London munch I met a friend i knew, who had brought along someone i work with, we hugged and said hello and that was that. Its life, these things happen... Yep! At one event, my sister's in laws lmao was cool though, ended up waffling for ages "...All the fear has left me now.. I'm not frightened anymore.. It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh.. It's my mouth that pushes out this breath.."

I met my brothers then fiance at a munch, she was with her dom of the moment I gather, we didn't say anything about it at the time, but it was something my brother knew nothing about, it just isn't/wasn't his world.
They split up a while later, she told him about her other half and my brother decided he didn't want any sort of open relationship. I gather shes much happier now and able to be honest about her needs and my brothers with someone else. They are, I know , happier apart, but still good friends.

Yup. Mid-conversation around a dinner table, two of us realised we both posted on IC. Nobody else picked up on it and in hushed voices we exchanged user names. As you wish

In other words coincidences happen. What's the time OllieVW? And my name isn't John.

No such thing as coincidences. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

There are quite a few people from past lives I would like to bump into through IC/munch etc. Especially if they were superior to me and are on here as Sub. Oh the joy! From this time forward, you will service us

Yes once, we got chatting on here and wasn't till a few weeks later when we exchanged pics that we realised that we actually went to college with each other in our teens, used to hang out in the SU playing pool, lol.
Tis a small world indeedy td "A masochist walked up to a sadist, and said 'Hurt me'. The sadist said 'No' and walked away."

Er.... have you got the stats for that?
Yes, I've met several people "on the scene" - mainly at clubs - who I was surprised to see, knowing them in a more vanilla sense. They weren't surprised to see me!
