That's exactly the problem; there's a whole load of work that goes in to organising all these club nights for us all to enjoy that you simply never ever see.
Firstly, there's the venue. Rebound is fortunate that it has it's own home. It doesn't have to rely upon a pub hosting, which seems to have been the downfall of other clubs. Especially when you're asking for them to give up a significant part of their premises to a decicated group! Compare that with renting a conference room at a hotel for the night for example.
Secondly, who runs the club? You're asking someone to give up their Saturday night. Beforehand to set up the equipment, and afterwards clearing up after everyone.
Thirdly, but not finally, they've got to put up all the shit stirrers! Orgainsers might as well paint a target on their asses. They have to put up with certain persons who turn up to their clubs with an agenda to deliberately cause trouble, including calling the police!
Thankfully peace has broken out. Let's just leave it at that shall we?

I think you'll find that most of my posts on rebound were very supportive of the club and its organisers until a few things happened, and that i do have a fair idea of the amount of work all club organisers so on behalf of the members.

I think you'll find that most of my posts on rebound were very supportive of the club and its organisers until a few things happened, and that i do have a fair idea of the amount of work all club organisers so on behalf of the members.

Don't think anyone is disputing the work organisers put in, for all clubs, it,s more a hit back at someone, or some troll, bating on rebound posts, about other clubs not being good, it was pathetic, and totally nasty, not to say, unnecessary, so why did this person feel the need to do that??? then make out people were over reacting!!
