:: grins :: I suspect they found a big word on Google, and thought it added more gravitas to the sensationalism than 'sex dungeon'. :: goes away to ponder the business possiblities of a 'sadistic dungeon' :: :o) Cru x

Lol you mean reach for the most emotive words to make a simple complaint seem like the end of western civilisation. I bet the person who said it had a real serious tone, like the tone reporters have when 3 miles from a war and can hear bombs, or when a river floods and damages a home.

I have visited more pro-dommes with female receptionists than you could shake a stick at. If the second lady is not taking part in the fun and games, it ain't a brothel!

I don't care if there was a small army of pro-dommes working there. In the present day and age, who gives a toss? That said, I love your name!

And on the subject of an army of pro-domes working a dungeon, please may I recommend the purchase of one of the following: http://www.storey-homes.co.uk/lansdowne.php Six bedrooms, two reception rooms, a kitchen with adjoining breakfast room, a study, four bathrooms, two of which are en-suite, a large garden and a cellar big enough for a dungeon, complete with a wrack, a St. Andrews Cross and God knows what else! It's all going for a mere £650,000 Also, as a neighbour, I promise not to shop the brothel owners to the police. Well, as long as I get to visit at least twice a year for absolutely nothing!

P.S. The show home is open Thursdays through to Mondays, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. To find the place, please search for the postcode MK40 2BU on Google Maps: http://maps.google.co.uk/ I look forward to welcoming my new neighbours with a smile and a bottle of champagne!

But, even if in the end it's decided it's not a brothel there is still the hassle etc of proving this - and all the resultant publicity as can be seen from this case I must admit I tend to agree with CruelLadyScorpio's post about the apparent way this dungeon was set up and run and the fact that the police probably have to get involved if there are a lot of complaints Having said that they do seem to have gone well over the top with the display of equipment and some of the attributed comments

Yes you can. The police could have investigated in a lower key way. And once it was clear what was going on, they could have reacted differently. Just because all that publicity is how their world works doesn't make it defensible. Several nationals ran it. I bet some one made money out of that; and based on past precedents, that some of that reward went to some of the police involved in some form or other.

ffs this is no roses round the door idyllic Devon village. That's a ginormous out of town Tesco complete with several football pitches sized carpark [but obviously not so close to said high rise dungeon else clients would have used it] alongside a large industrial estate, both spread out along the main Exeter to Plymouth and on into Cornwall dual carriageway. There are artics going in and out all the time. Sleepy village it ain't.
