Well I didn't have shingles, but I did have some other random dreadful virus. I seem to have got rid of that. I have been continuing to have pains in my head and face, and have had antibiotics for sinusitis, and the left hand side of my face continues to be numb. My diabetes seems to be coming under control and I have lost 1 stone 5 pounds. I was supposed to go back to work on Monday, but over the weekend I developed double vision, so back to the Dr with whom i now have a relationship like the Ancient mariner and "that bird".
He sent me to Eye A & E and they don't know what's causing it either, other than that is is allied to the numbness. so tomorrow more blood tests, a CT Scan being booked, and i have to see the orthoptist for help in coping with the effects of the double vision.
My daughter took me today. I can't drive at the moment, and she got me to the hairdresser to sort my messy hair as well. Between that and X-Raven-X doing my roots last week I feel rather more hooman.
But I'm sick and tired of being ill as well. I cannot even read knit or watch tv now because of the double vision. Time now to listen to one born every minute....

When I had Glandular Fever years ago I had visual problems too. I was told it was down to the severity of the virus. So maybe it's linked with your germ. All I can advise is take some suppliments to boost your system and avoid too much dairy. Worked for me! Get well soon. Kali x It's pronounced 'Car-Lee' *G* |
