Technically the cameraman could be considered to be committing an act of trespass as they do not have the property owner's permission to be on the land and the property owner can demand that they stop taking pictures and leave the property. Of course if the Police don't care to do anything about it...

Link to Daily Fail article. Traffic jams? It sounds like Lee Mill BDSM dungeon is the place to be! And clearly kidnap and/or terrorist activities going on, then. They always give themselves away with the traffic jams... The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation - Pierre Trudeau

Still looking on the pics/vids for the aforesaid cattle prod. Would they be referring to the small tens box, similar to that offered by Boots for back problems? As an ex Cowboy (in me youth) I can't really visualise driving the herd to the stockade, attempting to control 30 odd separate cattle, with tens units attached to their bollocks/udders whilst miraculously staying on me hoss - Wulfy My, what sharp teeth I have. I thought the polices role is to enforce the law, not to "restore normaility" and certainly not to act as photo journalists. In the unlikely event of a court case I imagine the defence will cite pre-trial publicity.

This type of story makes ones blood boil.
If only there were some legal boffins out there with enough neck to take on cases like these on a no win no fee basis.
Its not the fact that they were raided, the police were acting as they should, what is in question is the press involvment and the fact that the police have used maximum embarasment tactics to justify thier actions.
IMO the police havnt got a leg to stand on as far as a prosocution goes, so they have decided to save face by revealing scandelous information.
One problem though that no one seems to have picked up on yet, did the police take the computers and is there a possibility of extreme images being found?
They can then claim a result.
All will no doubt be revealed in time.

Not able to catch up ten pages in time. In case anyone doesn't already know... If anyone knows who this is please attempt to put them in contact with me or CAAN direct if support would be welcome from CAAN, or anyone else we might be able to find for them - including getting them a retaliatory news piece placed at least somewhere like El Reg(Jane Fae/John Ozimek is ready to report for) and or possibly somewhere bigger if we can get it. If anyone knows how we can pay our respects to Kristian Digby please get in touch or let us know. In solidarity and for people keeping the heck out of our private business, against out-ers making money out of our misery. LEGALISE OUR SEXUALITIES AND IMAGES so that we can make information on risk aware consensual kink more widely available and save unnecessarily wasted lives.

I think that as one of the earlier posts said that the only criminal offence that they could have committed was running a brothel. Unless the police mounted a "test purchase operation" first that might be tricky to prove. The detainees potentially bigger problems might come if they get prosecuted for tax evasion. It's interesting the different lines apparently being taken by police forces in this respect. I've heard on the grapevine that Greater Manchester Police have effectively declared that they won't be prosecuting brothels anymore - even more interestingly without any apparent outcry from any section of the public, the media, or the Home Secretary. I wonder without the BDSM element whether this would have been any form of story whatsoever. I think there would have been less media interest in photos of bottles of baby oil, a few dildos and vibrators, and lots of boxes of hankies. Evidentially the police may not be on too shaky ground releasing the photos of the equipment since that the accused were in possession of the items is unlikely to be disputed. Query morally the justification of such a high level of media exposure. Are the police going to thrust every shoplifter, every drunk and disorderly, and every speeder before the harsh lights of the media ? I don't want to undermine the gravity of any of those offences - nor the principle that justice is done publically, and that the public shame of conviction can be part of the deterrent. However there seems to be no suggestion that anybody here has been caused anything more than a bit of puzzlement as to what was going on next door. I also suspect that the occupants would have opened the door rather than have their door smashed off its hinges by the police. Also query whether the provision of sexual services ought to be legalised and licenced ? And to contact the couple ? IF they are charged the identity of their solicitors should be a matter of public record at the Magistrates' Court to which they are charged. S.x.
