They do but they also take a hefty chunk in commission. CCBill is for paysites. Nobody would use them for a deposit system. Deposits seem to be a bit hit and miss.... do you take them or do you not? I guess if you are seeing regular customers there isnt so much of a need to take them. For first time customers i can see the significance of asking for a deposit... quite how you get that in a way which protects you and them needs a little more research.
I have to say im rather liking the idea of people being met at a different location and being escorted to the place... that appeals to me big time and i could definately work with that ~* Raku wa ku no tané; ku wa raku no tané. *~

I don't use a deposit system. I did trial it for a while but it was more hassle than it was worth. I asked them to send cash by special delivery to my home address. Other PDs use this method and swear by it. You have to learn how to spot the timewasters the hard way. As much as I detest them and the loss of earnings they cost me initially, I think they do a good job of weeding out the fly by nights and the women who think PDing is easy money. I disagree with Anna...would never give my home address to a stranger to send me a deposit. Deposit is of course for first timers or if you hiring the dungeon.....

Meeting in a different place would only work if you see a client per day and have plenty of free time !!!
How about the preparation, the dressing up and etc..... Clients something request for a specific thing, will go out in Nurse uniform to the coffee shop? hehhehehhehe

A PD can ask for a deposit whenever she wants, for whatever reason. There is no hard and fast rule. She will do what is right for her. This isn't a matter for agreement of disagreement. It's a matter of personal choice and what works for the PD. Of course Anna its not a rule is just" playing "safe specially if you are hiring a dungeon. In some Dungeons you have to pay a deposit, some will give your money back if client dont show up,some wont!!!!!!!! PDs can do whatever they want indeed but lets be ahead of the game ladies!!!
There is not right or wrong about deposit....xx

I make sure that I am outside the dungeon/school room, for every visitor and have a hidden panic alarm. Party at the Barnet Bastille 4th Sunday every month |
