Anyone want to see Alice in 3D It was mentioned at the last Manchester mid week that a number of people may be interested in a film night to watch the new Alice in 3D at the imax. After seeing the trailer I think its worth going just to see the Cheshire Cat that eerily appears 2 feet from your face. To make a night of it The Old Wellington Inn does a fantastic dinner for not a lot of sovs ( sovereigns, ackers, brass ie cash ) and is only a short walk from the cinema. The film starts about 8.00ish so 6.40 in the pub gives us time for a bit of dinner and a pint before the movie. If your interested were looking at Mon – Thurs please list your preferred day and a second choice. The day that gets the most votes is the night we go. Dress is vanilla and no remote controlled toys. I'm free every night so any nights good for me. | ||

Ringing the box office tommorow.. Seems to have been a bit of trouble with the movie rights and the odeon only got the go ahead to do weekdays starting the 8th march. The movie is 108 mins so a 8.30 ish start after the adds puts it ending about 10.20 ish if my maths are correct.

S'pose we need to allow time for trailers and (I hope) that cute robot type person on the screen that tells you not to use your phone or chatter during the movie. Might be finishing nearer 11pm.

Well fellow kinksters it looks like Wednesday is the night and we have 5 for dinner. If your all ok with that, I will book a table at the Wellington. I would suggest we all meet up, get the tickets before before we eat. A final head count shall be made on Monday, everyone ok with that. |
