I'd almost forgotten that cats can't eat chocolate. Will have to make myself a little note to remember.

Can you get chocolate-like treats suitable for cats? I know dogs can get them, not sure about cats. And would these be human-compatible?

You could have dry cereal- cheerios, etc. It looks like dry cat food and you could have a bowl of milk with it! Nom nom nom!!!

sounds like mine, he drinks my bath water! and will knock over cups of cold tea to drink them so I don't let anyone leave even a tiny bit in a cup (I ended up with a crunchy carpet on my ex's side of the bed because he always left half finished cups on the floor)

And yes I know chocolate is poisonous, the only time he gets it is if he manages to steal it, like the first time he had chocolate cake. I reasoned that cats don't like non meaty things, ok to let the buns cool on the side...

Yes you can and yes they are... I've eaten them - many years ago, when I was drunk one evening, I ate my friend's cats chocolate buttons. She couldn't tell me what I was eating for laughing - she told me the next morning, when I had sobered up!

They tasted fine (as far as I can recall) and I had no ill after effects.

i really hope that i can have chocolate, i <3 it so much! but I wud lik 2 try streak pie with out the crust... and also cereal sounds quite gud :D

Doggie chocs are vile, for humans. I feed my puppies (unsalted) nuts or dried banana as training treats.

Google "home made cat food recipes" and you'll see lots of even more interesting ideas.
