When everyone and I mean everyone seems
To want to walk right through you!
From an early age we are told to walk on the left and we (in this country that is) drive on the left.
I am now noticing almost everyone seems to think that we have to walk on the right of the pavements now.
BUT WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I DO WALK ON THE RIGHT EVERYONE ELSE WANTS TO WALK ON THE LEFT??
I now stand still and make the gits walk round me. ![]()
Maybe it is that there are way too many foreigners in this country and they think that they really are in their own country and walk however they like.
My apologies to any persons of foreign birth who do walk on the left and do not try to defy the laws of physics by walking through people.

I am British born and bread and always lived in this country and have never heard of a rule or convention that says that we should walk on the left. Never, ever. At New Street Station Ramp, there is a sign asking people to do this as it is so busy, but this is the only exception, not a general rule. I know it applies to driving, but not walking. Gary x. Everyone who lives dies, but not everyone who dies has truly lived. | |
