as far as my own nails do, I like to spend a little time filing and trimming them before a spell with my special-thing. I use my hands and fingers a lot, quite invasively too. I wouldn't want to 'accidentally' damage or mar her her lovely skin. However, beyond the 'accidental' I leave enough that with pressure and intent, marks and sensation are a definate. It's not that important as a 'ritual' to me, but when the mindset is there, the filing and shaping definately add to the 'feel'. Her nails are important to me. We rarely play with them, though I love the feeling of them tracing my balls. But I enjoy her constant effort to grow them and keep them well shaped and polished.
