Chloroform (or ether, for that matter) play cannot be SSC. It could just be RACK as long as both parties fully understand the R bit. However, the risks are considerable, and include sudden death and a range of serious reactions that don't quite kill you but could leave permanent damage. Any significant adverse event would require emergency services. Serious complications would inevitably involve the police. Death would of course look like murder, so would involve the media and a trial. This is all life-ruining stuff for both parties. I would never use volatile organic solvents on humans without the presence of a consultant anaesthetist and a full set of emergency resuscitation equipment. That means I would never risk it in real life. The risks are just too great and too unpredictable.

I've already answered that question. "If no sexual offence is being committed it seems very odd indeed that there should be an offence for having an image of something which was not an offence," Lord Wallace of Tankerness

I think the fantasy would be better than the reality in this instance and it begs the question where would you obtain it anyway.

The fantasy is lovely, but chloroform is just too dangerous to use safely. Both myself and my partner (medically trained) adore breath play and use nitrous oxide to achieve similar sensations and feelings of loss of control. This though is built upon years of knowledge and experience from both of us. However, I would not recommend any type of anesthesia play unless the Dominant has a the relevant medical training. Even then you need to both be aware of the risks involved and the ramifications of them. "let's dare to be ourselves, for we do that better than anyone else can" Shirley Briggs.

Just to add my two penny worth- as far as I'm aware, due to its toxicity, chloroform is legally classed as a weapon. Using it on someone is the equivalent of shooting or knifing them. A fancy way to play Russian roulette to my mind. Maihri

I've read and re-read what people have said and I agree that chloroforms usage came to a gradual end due to safer drugs being developed. However, I can't put a definitive explanation forward but I love the idea of a lady soaking that pad in a pair of leather gloved hands and me being unable to stop her. The lady steps forward and puts me under. I know the risks, but I think visiting someone like Lady Anna would allow me to indulge a fantasy I have had since the onset of puberty. It's illogical I know given what could happen, but I want to feel what its like to have someone chloroform me. I've done roleplays and pretended to go under and done the same to others, but I really want to have that experience of the gloved hand and white cloth making me go to sleep. |
