Chloroform Play (53)

Chloroform is anything but safe. It is extremely toxic and even comes with a little skull warning on the bottle. It isn't used in hospitals any more it is that dangerous.

30% of the general population are allergic or intolerant to anaesthetic gases so you are extremely likely to vomit whilst you are unconscious. Do you trust your Dom to not panic and save your life?

To avoid vomiting I suggest you fast for 5 hours prior to play. This is extremely important.

Don't let it come into direct contact with skin.

It can take a couple of minutes to several minutes to knock you out. Your willingness to be knocked out is a huge factor as well as how quickly you progress through the stages of anaesthesia. Some people pass out fairly quickly. Some need a lot of coaching, training and persuasion to let themselves pass out.

It is important to know how much to use and not to go overboard and keep giving them more and more if they take a while to go out. The more you give them the deeper they go into unconsciousness. There are four stages of anaesthesia. Stage four is death. Always bear that in mind.

Some people will snap out of it very quickly and they will be very confused and so they need careful handling. They won't know where they are. they will have lost their memory of what you have been doing. Other people will gradually wake up from unconscious to sleeping and then slowly awakening. This gives them time for their impaired memory to catch up a bit. So I've had people take a minute to come round, others 20 mins or so.

After play your side effects can include a banging headache for the rest of the day, a feeling of nausea for a couple of days, loss of memory, flashbacks, sleepyness that can last a couple of days, a woolly head - all in any combination. Some people dont have side effects at all, but all will have some memory loss with flashbacks.

You must bear in mind that chloroform makes the heart ultra sensitive to adrenaline. Don't play with anyone with heart disease or a family of heart disease. I won't play with anyone over 60 as a precaution.

I have played with the same person roughly once a fortnight. I wouldn't be happy doing it any more often than that. Chloroform can stay in your body for a couple of days. It all depends how quickly your body processes the toxin.

Don't read my advice and think that is all you need. It isn't. I highly recommend you watch a scene before you try it. People react very differently and you have to be prepared for every eventuality. One guy nearly attacked me because he thought he was in bed at home and I was a burglar! Have someone with you who is experienced and able to deal with a lot of different scenarios. This is not a time to freak out due to inexperience or incomplete knowledge.

Something to consider: I highly highly recommend that the sub is very securely restrained to prevent injury to the Domme. Stage 2 of anaesthesia can cause confusion, distress and hallucinations. The sub could thrash around and attack. BUT: If the sub is restrained they are reliant on the Domme: not cocking up, watching out for abnormal reactions and being able to prevent the sub choking on their own vomit if they have eaten but fibbed about it.

I am a very serious edge player but thinking too much about chloroform, and what can go wrong, scares the hell out of me.

I know I go to stage 3.1. As soon as they get there I bring them round by removing the chloroform or waking them up depending on how I know they react, how many times I have played with them and other clues.

This is not an activity that you can mix with drink and/or drugs. It's serious serious stuff.
