One thing I like about the story is that, while it was probably at least partly intended for a TG fan audience (the author is partly known for filling in on art for awhile for a TG comic called "Abstract Gender" until they found a new regular artist to replace the previous one), it at least leaves things ambiguous enough so that the character could also just be a girl who woke up in some stranger's body. So everyone can play! Because the actual identity of the character is You.
