I suppose that depends whether your idea of liberty is the ability to be a firearm homicide statistic and to torture animals.

Anyway, voted! :-)

BTW What are your views on gun play and knife play?

Yes that is a loaded(no pun intended) question but do you have the nerve to answer it?

If you do, please do it in another thread, don't divert this one, thanks!

Use of firearms by criminals has increased since the ban on privately owned hand guns, most of which were used for sport target shooting.

Edit: Voted, but doubt that Vince will say anything unexpected on the subject.

Can't see how asking a minority party MP who appears to only give opinions on financial matters a question starting "How will you roll back ..." a bit presumptious about what influence the Liberal Democrats will ever have on UK politics

The point is that the LibDems were virtually the only ones (with the exception of Lord Onslow) to stand up in the Lords and object to this nonsense.

My question is intended to keep issues like these in the public eye and force whoever is in power to justify keeping these laws in the face of increasing criticism of how ineffectual and unjust they are.

The Libdems are not pro liberty, examples are gun bans and anti fox hunting and there are others. They like the restof the pick'n'choose liberals in Parliament would wheno faced with enough "public outrage" would soon fall in line. Not to difficult when you are not a PRINCIPLED liberal/libertarian.

I suppose that depends whether your idea of liberty is the ability to be a firearm homicide statistic and to torture animals.

One day when your in jail after voting for a illiberal part rather than a liberal one you will have time to look up Liberty in the dictionary to find out what it really means.

Of course your idea of liberty would be making it a fair fight between burglers and home owners. Oh and banning hunting while allowing fishing.

Nice trolling btw. This was funny, but the neighbour didn't think so. http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/3162/download...

Flippin' norah, Cookie - these are pretty wild non sequiturs!

Yes, I am J P Hartley - fuck - busted.

But the gun and knife play thing is weird even for you. Nerve to answer what?

As Graham says, stop trolling and bog off to a blog or, preferably, a circle jerk with fellow biscuit aficionados....

The only way this could conceivably be a question for the Treasury was if the bankers were spending their bonuses on Max Moseley's tarts who were in turn not paying their taxes....

what a shame, i thought this might be an open mic problem page type deal.

"dear Vince. when my boyfriend has me bound and gagged for a good ass raping, i often find i get cramp in my toes. should we be using more lube, or is the economic outlook such that cramp is only to be expected? my friends tell me higher taxes might help, but i'm worried he'll just go abroad. what do you recommend? yours, anxious of chattel manor"

some days it's hardly worth chewing through the leather straps
