Use of firearms by criminals has increased since the ban on privately owned hand guns, most of which were used for sport target shooting. The point is that the LibDems were virtually the only ones (with the exception of Lord Onslow) to stand up in the Lords and object to this nonsense. My question is intended to keep issues like these in the public eye and force whoever is in power to justify keeping these laws in the face of increasing criticism of how ineffectual and unjust they are.
