OK so we all know that i cant do anything about easing Masters pain (see previous blog) so i have to make the conscious decision to move onward and hopefully upward.

That in mind, i have been giving thought to something that i often find myself thinking about.

Its a little game really, and i am sure that it is one that a lot of people play.

i often think about if i could hold a dinner party, what characters/people would i want to have there.

i know that a few years ago there was a programme on TV that did this - a bit of a highbrow one on BBC2 i think it was, but it was interesting to see the people chosen.

Personally i would have the likes of Stephen Fry, Eric Morecambe, Agatha Christie, Eric Sykes, Hattie Jacques, and Billy Connolly. A weird group perhaps but people that i have always had the desire to meet.

Though, to be totally honest i think that the people that i would really most like to have to a dinner party are those that i have loved and are no longer with us. i wish with all of my heart that my mother and father could be there, and get to meet this wonderful man that i have married and who has made me so happy.

So famous, fictional or loved who would you choose?

be well and be happy

cally :-)

My first choice would also be with my departed family, along with a couple of close friends, my brother and his family. I would love to invite several generations of my family, going back to those who died many years before I was born. It would be very interesting to get to know them, to see what they were like.

My fantasy dinner party of real people, dead or alive (Alive in the fantasy, I wouldn't want corpses at the table…lol) would be.

Off the top of my head, others would probably come to mind later. Of course, Dawn would be invited to all of them.
