Gather Round, Gentlemen!

Here's the plan so far, chaps:

We will be meeting at Manchester Piccadilly train station, somewhere around platform 2 and 3 at 8AM, to catch the train at 08:15. It's not a long journey at all but shotguns in the City Centre may be a little frowned upon, hence our sojourn to the hills.

The usual 'suits and boots' look is excused if you are attending the shoot as it would be crazy to attempt it in your finest vestments. This said, we are sure our Gentlemen can still cut a fine figure out there amongst the bumpkins...

As you know, we will never charge for a munch, but the shooting does cost a small amount. The price for gun hire and 25 cartridges is £13.50, 50 cartridges is £24.50.

There are also bacon sandwiches and coffee and tea available.

After the shoot we shall be retiring to our usual haunt of The Briton's Protection near Deansgate Locks from 1PM to while away the afternoon with the finest whiskys and cigars.

The munch phone number is 07798 745 636 - If you need to find us on Saturday morning then you can contact me directly on that number.

Hope to see you all there, let's go and kill some clay things!

The munch officially ends at 5pm and some of us tend to move on to another venue after that, to which you are all invited also.

So, chaps, Let us go forth and shoot some of those damned clay pigeons! And no waiting for them to land, that is classed a roguery and skullduggery of the lowest order!

They most certainly are. We welcome anyone who lives full time as a man and can don a suit and tie and comport himself in a suitable manner.

We will have a munch phone on the morning to help rally the troops at Manchester. You can contact us on 07798 745 636 at any time on the day of the Muncheon.

(.. I am sure a gentleman never would point it out but if there will be more than one of you it will be plural - gentlemen and also presumably possessive - gentlemen's....not only were wars won on the playing fields of Eton but grammar is pretty well taught...but I'm only a girl so I'll depart...In fact gentlemans never exists does it? because it's never the plural and if it's not plural it must be possessive so it would need the apostrophe)
