The members of my household are not exactly football fanatics (being mostly female) but when England are playing that all quickly changes and it's bedlam.
Daughter number one comes round with her fiance and the
six of us pile into our smallish lounge and scream at
the tele (and the ref) just the same as everyone
else.....even the 9 year old joins in! And i didn't
realise my 14 year old knew so many obscenities. 
i was quite proud of myself for correctly predicting the 3-0 scoreline against Switzerland. Last night i tried again, predicting 3-1 to England.....ok so i'm not psychic afterall but we won didn't we?
Wayne Rooney, you are a darling! Just keep that temper of yours under control please. We need you!
i had a bit of a fright when it looked as if France might draw making us group winners. That would have meant a friday match which would definately not have been good......Master is coming on friday so i doubt i would have got to watch it in peace (He hates football, rugby is more His thing). As it is we get to play on thursday so my time is my own to enjoy the battle between the two young talents, Rooney and Ronaldo.
Wonder if i dare take the phone off the hook and turn
my mobile off?
