Does anyone know a source for VacBeds in the UK? The only site I could find doesn't make them anymore because of the cost of shipping - but surely there's a demand for these great bits of kit? |

There seems to be a few interesting choices there. Does anybody have any practical advice on what to choose, which options to go for and how best to enjoy a vac bed ? The thickness of the latex is often mentioned. Thicker is going to be more durable, but thinner is going to cling better, what is the optimum choice in practice ? Then there is the question of holes. Even I can work out that a breathing hole is essential, but there are breathing tubes, face gaskets and all sorts of other apertures. What do people recommend ? Then there is the question of holes elsewhere. We see mention of sealing flaps, zips or just holes. What works best ? Finally, what sort of play works particularly well with a vac bed ? There are some obvious things, but anything a little less obvious ? |

Me personally will be staying away from all vac beds. Wulfy got one last summer, all was going fine till an agonising pain in my left ear...
Turned out the pressure had burst my ear drum So just a word of warning. td "A masochist walked up to a sadist, and said 'Hurt me'. The sadist said 'No' and walked away." Edited 22 Feb 10, 5:08 PM by TaintedDesire |
